Eligibility & your account

1. 16+ only You must be at least 16 to use Pavilla. We may remove accounts that don't meet this.
2. Real, accurate details Your name, email, phone, school email, and photos must be yours and not misleading.
3. Your account, your responsibility Keep your login private and get help fast if someone else accesses it.

Your profile & content

1. What you share Your profile may show your name, age, department, level, gender, residence, relationship status, bio, interests, and photos.
2. How photos appear Photos may be used as your display picture and on discovery and profile cards in the app.
3. Keep it lawful and yours No impersonation, stolen photos, or harmful, illegal, or misleading content.

Connecting & messaging

1. Connect first Full chat opens once two people connect (a mutual Pav).
2. Contact controls Your settings and safety filters can limit who is able to reach you.
3. Echo links Links you share let others message you — you decide where you share them.

Safety, conduct & moderation

1. Be respectful No harassment, threats, bullying, discrimination, blackmail, or unwanted contact.
2. No harmful content No sexual, exploitative, violent, illegal, or fraudulent material.
3. Respect boundaries Honour others' privacy choices, and never bypass restrictions or misuse system tools.
4. Block & report You can block or report anyone. We review reports and may warn, limit, suspend, or remove accounts.

Data & privacy

1. How we use your data Your profile, interests, and activity power discovery, matching, messaging, and notifications.
2. Visibility Your profile is shown for discovery based on your privacy settings. People you block can't see you.
3. Where it lives Account and message data are stored on our server; some settings stay on your device.
4. Your control You can edit, export, or delete your data from the app or through support.

Payments & WhatsApp reveals

1. Pro is optional Pav Packs, Reveal Credits, and Pavilla Plus are extras — the app works without them. Plus is a 7-day plan and does not auto-renew.
2. Secure payments Payments go through Paystack. We never store your card details.
3. No refunds All purchases are final. For a payment taken in error, contact support with your Paystack reference.
4. Reveals use your number Reveals share the WhatsApp number you registered. Register your real, working number — Pavilla isn't liable if you entered a wrong or inactive one.

Changes

1. Updates We may update these terms. Continuing to use Pavilla means you accept the current version.
